It bears repeating, because it is so important, that your web site should complement your other marketing activities. Someone who visits your site and is prompted to send off for a brochure is not going to be impressed to find the brochure is exactly the same as the web site. Or the other way round: they've read the brochure and then taken the trouble to log on and visit your site only to find it's the same. They may feel you have wasted their time.
A web site is a golden opportunity to tell your prospects everything about you or your business they could wish to know. It puts them in charge of seeking the information and a properly constructed web site should make that process quick and easy. People prefer to buy, they don't like being sold to.

The Process
The process of creating your web site would begin with a discussion about you and your marketplace, and what objectives you might have for a web site. We don't make the assumption you know everything, we may be able to help you define those objectives. Our clients generally appreciate our outsiders' view of their business and we are free and easy with suggestions. We are not afraid either to make counter-suggestions if you come to us with a pre-defined layout and design for your site and we feel there may be better ways of approaching these. But at the end of the day, you are the client and we do what you want us to do.
We would next start to create the look-and-feel of the site and invite your feedback, we believe in involving you as much as you wish to be involved. At this early stage too, consideration would be given to what key words and phrases should be used to make the site more search engine friendly. We are very happy to work with your marketing or advertising department or agency to maintain a coherent image for your company. The criteria we would apply are that images and presentation look thoroughly professional, and that the site loads quickly. Loading quickly is an essential consideration. People these days are just too impatient, they are used to quick results and they demand quick results. If a page seems to them to take too long to appear, they simply hit the 'back' button and return to the previous site, and you may have lost them forever. Once we have established the site's look-and-feel, we can get on with coding the remainder of the pages and any special programming you may require us to do. This may encompass e-commerce, Flash animations, Javascripts, database integration and such like.
The completed site would then be installed where you can view and check it. Once you are satisfied, we can then go ahead and re-install it as required, and submit the site to search engines and directories if that option has been selected. Your site would then be live and running.

Each additional sub-page - £100
Forms and other special pages - £120
Notes: The cost of the Home Page includes working out the layout and navigation of the web site, and creating the look-and-feel of the site including buttons, backgrounds, etc. There is no set limit to how much material and how many images can be incorporated onto a page, apart from design integrity.
